San Francisco, CA—Chinatown Community Development Center (Chinatown CDC) announced today the appointment of two new members to its Board of Directors, Ben Golvin and Diana Pang. Golvin is a principal in Equity Community Builders (ECB), a real estate firm specializing in urban infill and adaptive re-use development. Prior to joining ECB, Golvin directed Golvin Klein Development, through which he managed the development and construction of residential projects in San Francisco. He previously served as the Manager of Development of Edison Capital, then the largest investor in affordable housing financed with low-income tax credits. Golvin was the President of the Board of Directors of Chinatown CDC in 2006-2007. Pang is the program coordinator for the San Francisco Youth Commission where she is in charge of the leadership development and youth empowerment programs. She also served as a member of the commission prior to her appointment as the program coordinator. Pang is a recent graduate of the University of California, Berkeley. Chinatown CDC is a non-profit 501 © (3) organization established in 1977 to develop and manage affordable housing in San Francisco, serve as neighborhood advocates, organizers and planners and empower low-income residents throughout San Francisco.
