Housing activists file San Francisco Anti-Speculation Tax Measure

SAN FRANCISCO (June 18, 2014) -- Housing activists from the Anti-Displacement Coalition rallied at City Hall and submitted an anti-speculation tax measure on June 17, targeting real estate speculation, and the housing and affordability crisis affecting the city's residents. The anti-speculation tax measure will be put up for vote in San Francisco on the November ballot.

Members of the coalition include Chinatown Community Development Center, SF Tenants Union, Causa Justa/Just Cause, Eviction Defense Collaborative, and the Housing Rights Committee.
