We facilitate a variety of social, cultural, and intergenerational activities to bridge our diverse residents together. Some of our activities include cultural celebrations such as potlucks, field trips, community barbecues, holiday toy drives for kids, and senior and youth bingo.
Many of our tenants are low-income immigrants—seniors, single adults, and families with children representing a diverse range of languages—over 80% of which have limited English proficiency. We provide translation, interpretation, education, and other services to assist them in understanding important documents that affect their benefits, housing status, and health. Through our programs we work to build healthy, empowered communities at our buildings and in our neighborhoods.
